Cho 200g đậu nành lông (edamame) vào trong một cái bát lớn và đổ nước, rửa sạch. Sau đó đem cắt bỏ 2 đầu trái đậu nành.
Tiếp đến cho đậu nành lông vào nồi, đổ nước xâm xấp mặt, thêm vào 1g hạt thì là, 1g đinh hương, 2 cái sao hồi, 1 miếng thanh quế, 2 trái ớt khô, 2g hạt tiêu, 1 lá nguyệt quế và 5g muối. Đun sôi khoảng 5 phút là đậu chín.
Đậu nành lông luộc thảo mộc giúp bổ sung chất sơ và đạm cho bữa cơm gia đình. Ngoài ra, còn cung cấp các axit amin thiết yếu cần thiết cho như cầu hoạt động cơ thể. Món này cho thể dùng ăn kiêng cho thực đơn ăn chay.
